Finally handing out Questionnaires!!

Ok, so yesterday I finally got round to handing out some of my questionnaires! (that I made up months ago!)
The places I handed them in to (just because I passed them on my luch break!) were..

The Purple Dog
Poppy's Tea Room
The Art cafe
Sloppy Joes

The general response to me saying  "can your chef fill in this questionnaire, it's about what vegan options you serve?" was raised eyebrows, as if to say "vegan options!? Are you mad?!" Will see if anyone has filled them in when I go back to collect them!

Pizza Express

As ever, all information on this site is intended as a guide. Menus and ingredients may change, so always mention that you are vegan at time of ordering.
If you spot any out of date information/broken links on this site, please email me to let me know!

Statement from  Pizza Express:

"All our pizza are made to order and can be made without the items that
render it unsuitable i.e. cheese. Our pizza dough and tomato sauce are all
suitable for vegans.

Newsflash! Pizza Express now have a special cheesless pizza on the menu! It's called Pianta and consitsts of: Spinach, chestnut mushrooms, pine kernels and artichoke on a spicy arrabbiata base, finished with rocket and extra virgin olive oil.

They also sell a vegan raspberry sorbet! So they could cater for a 3 course vegan meal. Result!

Pizza Expess' whole menu can be viewed here:

 http://www.pizzaexpress.com/our-food/our-restaurant-menu/

The Pizza express allergy PDF is here which states that they also now sell a vegan raspberry sorbet.

Note: If you have a mobile phone on the Orange network you can text "film" to 241 and get a code for buy-one-get-one-free at Pizza express on Wednesdays. (as well as BOGOF Odeon cinema tickets!). Pizza Express also accept Taste Card.

*Takeaway tip!*

When ordering pizza online for Takeaway (collection only) I noticed that to add 5 items to a plain margherita  pizza (obviously select the option "no cheese!") took the price up from £7 something to £13 something!
However the "Veneziana"  pizza which has lot's more topping (which I don't like!) is also £7 something.
I found that using the customise pizza option I could remove  toppings and add 5  that I wanted, and the price stayed the same!
-I think I opted to add red peppers, roast veg, red onion, artichoke and spinach.  It made for a very delicious pizza!
